Geohazard Mitigation
Geovert delivers end-to-end geohazard mitigation solutions across New Zealand, Australia, North America, and the Pacific - from planned works to rapid emergency response, protecting infrastructure from the forces of nature.
With over two decades of experience, we have responded to and managed hazards across India, America, PNG, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. Our teams are known for mobilising quickly in emergency situations, restoring safety and operational continuity after disaster events.
Our expertise covers the design, construction, and installation of debris flow barriers, rockfall barriers, shallow landslide barriers, and slope stabilisation systems. We provide fully integrated design–build services, supported by specialist equipment and safe construction techniques that ensure efficient delivery in even the most remote or challenging locations.
Our proven track record gives clients the confidence that we can manage every stage of the process, from inspection and risk assessment to installation and long-term resilience.
Our New Zealand teams have been responding to geohazard events since 2001, with direct experience managing post-earthquake recovery, storm-related slope failures, and emergency closures across the state highway and rail network. Geovert holds Physical Works Prequalification with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi in Geotechnical Services and is listed on the NZTA Supplier Directory for Physical Works - enabling engagement on state highway contracts up to $50 million without preliminary procurement formality. Geovert is also prequalified with KiwiRail.
