Geotechnical Works in a World Heritage Area - Mangatepopo Intake Structure Project Completed
The completion of Stage 6 at the Mangatepopo Intake Structure marks the end of a multi-stage programme of geotechnical works delivered for Genesis Energy within Tongariro National Park. Across six stages, Geovert addressed rockfall risk and slope instability above hydro intake structures and along access roads in one of New Zealand's most environmentally sensitive landscapes, a UNESCO World Heritage Area at the foothills of Mount Ngauruhoe.
