The Mt Messenger crew kick off our 25th anniversary celebrations!

Geovert’s 25th anniversary celebrations kicked off in New Zealand this month, right back where the company started in 2001.

Rather than holding a single event, we’re celebrating with our teams on site, so the first stop was our crew at Mt Messenger, followed by our Auckland and Penlink project teams. CEO and founder Anthony Teen and General Manager John Baggott made the trip over from Sydney to join in.

Getting everyone in one place is easier said than done when crews are spread across live project sites, so we’re grateful to everyone who downed tools long enough to celebrate with us, and to the clients and project partners who came along. Thanks also to our local teams who organised both events, including transforming our Auckland yard into a venue fit for a wedding.

The Mt Messenger crew also got a nice surprise, with a commemorative gift and a letter of recommendation from the Mt Messenger Alliance. It was a fitting recognition of the work the team has delivered on the project, and we’ll share more about it soon.

Since 2001, Geovert has grown from its New Zealand beginnings into a team of around 400 people working across Australia, New Zealand, North America and the Pacific. New Zealand remains an important part of that story, and it was a fantastic start to the anniversary celebrations.

Next stop is Australia, with more site celebrations planned over the coming weeks.
