Project

Overview

Between 2019 and 2024, comprehensive rockfall protection works were carried out at Hoover Dam on behalf of the US Bureau of Reclamation.

The project involved geotechnical inspections, scaling, bolting, mesh installation, and construction of rockfall barriers to safeguard both the iconic structure and over one million annual visitors. Working in steep canyon terrain with challenging access, rope access crews delivered the works without disrupting daily dam operations or compromising the site’s historic integrity.
