The winning photograph captured strong support from voters across both the company website and social media channels, edging out two other finalists: Ali Mustafa's shot of the Penlink infrastructure project in New Zealand and Cedric Weder's rail corridor slope stabilisation work in Australia.

The competition drew on monthly winners from Geovert's 2025 photo competition, with a judging panel selecting three finalists that best represented the company's work across diverse project types and challenging environments.

Joey's winning image continues a trend of strong audience engagement with Spider Excavator content. The equipment consistently generates interest when featured in Geovert communications, demonstrating the capabilities of machinery designed to operate in challenging terrain.

We'd like to thank all our keen photographers who contributed images throughout 2025, documenting the range and reality of the geotechnical projects undertaken by Geovert across our global operations.

The Photo of the Year competition will return in 2026 with monthly winners eligible for next year's overall title.
