Geovert is proud to announce the extension of our partnership with the US Bureau of Reclamation at the Hoover Dam for a further 5 years.

Since beginning work in 2019, our US team has been providing specialist rockfall mitigation and geotechnical services at one of America's most recognisable landmarks. The Hoover Dam, completed in 1936 during the Great Depression, represents a pivotal moment in American infrastructure history. As both a critical piece of working infrastructure and a monument to engineering achievement, the site demands the highest standards of technical excellence and safety performance.
Recognition for Safety Excellence
Our work has been characterised by our commitment to safety. Recent feedback from the Bureau of Reclamation highlighted our "exemplary safety record," noting that "safety is clearly their number one priority."
The Bureau's assessment emphasised our proactive approach, including regular safety training, thorough risk assessments, and the use of advanced safety equipment - all contributing to an exceptionally safe work environment throughout the previous project duration.
"Their exemplary safety record not only safeguarded the well-being of all personnel but also resulted in uninterrupted project progress," the Bureau noted in their evaluation.
Technical Expertise at a Historic Site
Working at the Hoover Dam requires specialist knowledge and careful execution. Our team delivers rockfall mitigation services that protect both the structure and the thousands of visitors who experience this historic site each year. The scale and significance of the location mean every aspect of our work is conducted with respect for the dam's legacy.
Located on the border between Nevada and Arizona, the Hoover Dam attracts over a million visitors annually and continues to generate hydroelectric power for the Southwest United States. Maintaining the safety and integrity of such infrastructure is a responsibility our team takes seriously.
Looking Ahead
As we enter this next phase of work, we remain committed to the same principles that have defined our approach from the beginning: technical excellence, consistent safety performance, and professional delivery.
We're grateful for the trust the US Bureau of Reclamation has placed in our team and proud of what our US crew has accomplished over the past six years. This extension takes our partnership to a full decade - a testament to the standards our team maintains every day.
