Project
Overview
The SH1 Ashburton Bridge, spanning the ecologically sensitive Hakatere / Ashburton River, required urgent concrete repair works along its structure. This river is a critical breeding ground for endangered black-billed gulls, necessitating a repair approach that was both technically sound and environmentally cautious.
