The completion of Stage 6 at the Mangatepopo Intake Structure marks the end of a multi-stage programme of geotechnical works delivered for Genesis Energy within Tongariro National Park. Across six stages, Geovert addressed rockfall risk and slope instability above hydro intake structures and along access roads in one of New Zealand's most environmentally sensitive landscapes, a UNESCO World Heritage Area at the foothills of Mount Ngauruhoe.

The Geovert team joined Newmont's annual family day at Boddington Gold Mine, giving the next generation a hands-on introduction to what rope access work involves on a working mine site.

Geovert's Francis Main and Sean McNamara attended the LaRGE 2026 international landslide risk workshop in Queenstown, with Francis presenting on the construction execution of the Diana Falls rockfall protection system -examining early contractor involvement, hazard management, and delivery in extreme conditions.
