Results
Full coverage of the slope with tailored solutions for variable terrain conditions.
Long-term stability achieved through hybrid drilling and mesh systems.
Demonstrated Geovert’s adaptability and capability in restricted-access stabilisation projects.
Project
Solution
Applied dual-methodology construction using excavator-mounted drills for 66% of the area and rope-access-operated wagon drills for the remaining 33%.
Integrated steel mesh, erosion matting, and shotcrete to stabilise the slope face.
Utilised rope access technicians for drilling, installation, and quality assurance across restricted sections.
Project
Challenges
Severely limited access restricted equipment size and construction methods.
Varying terrain conditions required multiple drilling and installation approaches.
Safety and logistical complexity of working below occupied residential structures.

Project
Overview
Geovert was commissioned to construct a rock anchor retaining wall system below the Blue Pacific Apartments to address a documented history of slope instability. The solution incorporated structural steel mesh, erosion control matting, and drilled drainage to provide a robust and permanent stabilisation outcome. Designed and delivered in close coordination with the geotechnical engineer, the works provided long-term assurance for the apartment complex above, mitigating risk in a challenging downslope environment with restricted access.
