Geovert Awarded Major Role on O Mahurangi – Penlink Project

Geovert is proud to announce our latest major contract award on the O Mahurangi – Penlink project in New Zealand, where we are delivering critical ground stabilisation works in collaboration with the O Mahurangi Alliance and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi.

Our scope involves batter stabilisation across soil slopes and rock faces along the new corridor, with up to 30,000 metres of soil nails and rock bolts being installed alongside stabilisation mesh and drilled drainage systems. These works are fundamental to ensuring the long-term safety and resilience of the new transport link.

This program of stabilisation works forms an essential part of the wider 7km tolled highway development, which will connect the Whangaparāoa Peninsula with State Highway 1. The O Mahurangi – Penlink project is set to significantly improve regional connectivity, support economic growth, and strengthen links to new housing developments.
