Geovert's Hannah Thomas Speaking at SME MINEXCHANGE 2026

Geovert's Hannah Thomas will be taking to the stage at the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME) MINEXCHANGE Conference in Salt Lake City, from 22nd–25th February.

Hannah's presentation, DEI Starts with 'I': Embracing the Individual to Build True Inclusion, is scheduled for Monday 23 February as part of an afternoon session (2:50 PM), a topic she cares deeply about.

Rather than starting with policy or procedure, Hannah's talk goes a step further back: to the individual. She'll be exploring how self-awareness shapes the way we show up at work, how our nervous system responses influence team dynamics, and why genuine inclusion has to start from within before it can take hold across an organisation. It's the kind of honest, human conversation that our industry needs more of.

Following her presentation, Hannah will also join the panel discussion on I&D Challenges and Opportunities in Mining, a session featuring some genuinely influential voices in the industry including former Geovert Breaking Ground podcast interviewee, Amanda Adams.
