How Do You Protect Dam Infrastructure from Seasonal Icefall?
Geovert successfully delivered a design and construct icefall and rockfall protection project at Yellowtail Dam, Montana, under a Northern Colorado USBR service contract. The project addressed seasonal icefall from dam leakage and deteriorating rockfall barriers while maintaining uninterrupted power generation. Solutions included custom barrier systems, rock scaling and installation sequencing to protect infrastructure and personnel.
