Key Insights from Industry Experts

The event kicked off with a compelling presentation by Tim Barker from Resolute D&D Consulting, who highlighted significant advancements in decommissioning and demolition project planning. Spotlight on Dairy Industry Challenges

A standout presentation at the conference came from Jeyakumar Mogorajah of Fonterra NZ, who offered critical insights into the challenges faced by the dairy industry in managing aging assets. Jeyakumar highlighted advanced waterproofing techniques and crack sealing solutions; specialised work being undertaken by Geovert AIM. These projects, executed as part of a valued and long-standing partnership between Fonterra and Geovert AIM, underscore the importance of collaborative approaches in addressing the complexities of aging infrastructure in the food and agriculture sector.

Networking and Knowledge Exchange

The conference also facilitated meaningful interactions with key industry players. Discussions with representatives from Mt Isa Mines, including Derick Knudson and Josh Schmidt, were particularly enlightening. The presence of Geovert Head of New Business Marianne Rogers, a former Mining Engineer at Mt Isa and Statutory Mine Manager at Selwyn Mines and Gunpowder Copper in the Mt Isa region, added valuable perspective to these conversations.
