Trafficable Safety Netting

Load-rated safety netting systems that create safe, walkable platforms in high-risk areas.

Trafficable safety netting is a specialised form of tension netting that combines fall protection with load-bearing access. Unlike standard tension nets, which are primarily used to contain debris or wrap around structures, trafficable systems are engineered to be walked on, creating resilient and flexible platforms that protect personnel from falls while catching dropped tools or materials.

They are ideal for overhead work and maintenance in congested or restricted sites, reducing the need for scaffolding and heavy equipment. Tensioned net systems can also be adapted to complex geometries, such as wrapping around pylons, tanks, or irregular structures, where conventional access solutions are difficult to install.

Benefits:

  • Dual function: access platform and fall protection

  • Prevents injuries and equipment damage from dropped objects

  • Lightweight, fast to deploy, and highly adaptable
