Four personnel mobilised to site early to scale the stockpile conveyers then the site team ramped up to a 24 man crew -
12 on days and 12 on nights.
Working on behalf of Newmont in their largest ever attempted shutdown to change wear plates in their COS and HPGR bins, following arrival on site Geovert’s team were giving extra work to achieve in an already delayed shutdown in the secondary bins and stockpile bins.
Newmont quickly realised on site that rope access was dramatically faster than scaffold so scaffold companies were moved out of our way allowing Geovert to catch their lost time back, which was achieved.
