Geovert provides an ongoing maintenance of its dryers and pipes during planned shuts to ensure the integrity of its wooden fiberboard production line. This ensures the dryers and pipes uphold the quality of the product that produces some of the worlds premium MDF products. Some of these shuts had only a window of 8 hours to complete from the plant shutting down to starting back up again.

Depending on how many pipes and silos the plant required to remediate simultaneously, Geovert deployed teams to carry out the inspections/repairs. The team would arrive early to carry out risk assessments and apply lock out/tag-out systems to ensure the technicians safety before work commenced. Then teams of welders/NDT techs would enter under strict confined space procedures, complete the task at hand, exit and lock off in time for the plant to be turned on.
