Dewatering and Drainage Drilling

The control of ground water can generally be classified into two categories; groundwater removal and ground water exclusion. In terms of ground water removal, we have installed many 1000’s of kilometres of bored drains, which work under gravity to lower the ground water levels reducing the build up of porewater pressure.

Geovert has the capacity to install drains several hundred meters deep into rock with powerful drilling plant and in confined spaces. We have experience installing drainage systems in tunnels, on steep slopes of embankments and cuttings for mining & civil engineering applications, and have completed a significant amount of installations improving global stability on unstable landslips.
