Confined Spaces

Geovert has developed, in parallel to its other specialist services, an operational capacity to effectively carry out work in confined space environments. Confined space work is in closed environments that present difficulties in access, or atmospheric conditions. The company has performed extensive inspection, maintenance and construction activities in shafts, silos, tanks, tunnels and all types of piping both horizontal and vertical.

These operations have been carried out in a variety of atmospheric contaminants including toxic gases, combustible contaminants and vapours which are generally undetectable to human senses. Geovert is equipped to deal with atmospheric testing and monitoring, and operation with breathing apparatus to perfomr tasks safely in these environments.
